Chapter 14 – Paranoia


It was about a mile from our overnight mooring to Preston Brook Tunnel.

Two miles below the small township of Lymm, we moored for the night.

..went to find lunch, and to explore this tiny town





...an old cottage, beautifully surrounded by myriad flowers of many hues




we slipped out into the countryside again




Hot weather's good for the scents of nature




I had been given a bad impression of Sale,
but I’m glad to say we found it to be largely unjustified.




The clean, tidy appearance of Sale's canal faded as we headed north

attractive parkland, we tied up for the night
