On our way to Litherland
It has to be said that this was a very long way from being the most attractive
place to moor, but we were really glad to be there.
...the
last, short stretch to Stanley Locks
We
arrived at Stanley Top Lock half an hour early
This
gave us time to wander around theite.
Down
the four Stanley Locks
Into
Stanley Dock, Brutus Maximus ahead of us
Then
Collingwood Dock... Head
towards the Victoria Tower
and enter into Salisbury Dock
Towards the end, turn left into
Trafalgar Dock Passage
To our left, we get the best view yet of the Stanley Dock
Tobacco Warehouse
On through the Central Docks Channel
and into West Waterloo Dock
Prince's Half Tide Dock
and Prince's
Dock
At
Prince's Dock Lock we could hear loud but distant screams
Now
some tunnels
the second one of
which deposits us at Mann Island Lock.
Out of the lock, we enter the South Docks
On
we go, through the grand Albert Dock
and
finally into Salthouse Dock
Jellyfish of all sizes waft their way around the berths
